The spiritual path is one centered around a life long practice of inner Work and often ascribes to the path of the Bodhisattva and Bodhicitta. In this workshop, Kriss merges Eastern modalities from Buddhist, Zen, and Sufi traditions with Positive Psychology and Self-Love training. This mentorship session dives deep into how you can feel connected to life, nature, and other human beings in a Western society which is rooted in competition, separation, and ego.
The Bodhisattva vow is the vow taken by Mahayana Buddhists to liberate all sentient beings. One who has taken the vow is nominally known as a Bodhisattva. By cultivating supreme moral and spiritual perfection, we are positioned to be of service to others. The Bodhicitta is a spontaneous wish to attain enlightenment motivated by great compassion for all sentient beings, accompanied by a falling away of the attachment to the illusion of an inherently existing self.
It is often challenging for Western people to incorporate timeless Eastern teachings which have been in existence for 1000s of years due to the radically different societal and cultural structures. This mentorship session transmutes the illusory walls of separation to unite people together as a collective human family using ancient wisdom in a modern, simple, and relatable way. The path to awakening is one of freedom and liberation. The path of helping others achieve a life without suffering is quite possibly the greatest accomplishment of being human. Both the individual path of healing and the path of being of service to others is ultimate summation that makes life worth living.
